What is TubePulse™ ?

TubePulse™ is our advanced dial testing module. TubePulse enables you to engage the target audience in thoughtful and in-depth discussions to illuminate their potential concerns/ feedback. To add TubePulse™ question

Go to:

Login » Surveys » (Select Survey) » Edit Survey » Add/Edit Questions

In the pop-up window go to:

Add-On Modules >> Select TubePulse™ Dial Testing/Video Rating under Image/Multimedia drop-down option

Click on Next to proceed

Now add the Question Text. Custom Scale Headers can be used to customize the rating scale i.e. both text and range. Default is 1-10 rating scale. There are two ways to add the customized scale.

Next select one of the two Data Collection options. Both options have been explained later in the help file.

Next add the Youtube™ Video ID.

Open http://www.youtube.com and select the video you want to add . Refer to the following sample screen-shot to get Youtube™ Video ID.

Copy and paste the Youtube™ Video ID and click the Save Question button.

How does the two Data Collection types (Moment-by-Moment Dial/Slider and Cue-point/Pause/Ask) work?

1) Moment-by-Moment Dial/Slider:

The video rating can be given at any moment during the video using the slider.

2) Cue-point/Pause/Ask:

In Cue-Point you can rate the video at any moment and also add comments. This is useful when you want users to give you open-ended comments for each rating.

How can I export TubePulse Question data?

To download the report go to:

Login » Surveys » Analytics » TubePulse » Export Data

Select the Question and click Download.
